How We Vet Technical Talent

Every professional we present as Vetted has completed our defined verification and technical-evaluation process. Each step produces evidence, and a person makes and records every decision.

Claims Start as Self-Reported

Everything an applicant tells us (skills, years, past roles) is marked self-reported until we verify it. Profiles keep the label, so you can always see which parts are claims and which are checked.

The Process

The core steps apply to everyone we present as Vetted. Some checks depend on the role, the client’s requirements and legal guidance; when a step differs, the profile shows exactly what was completed.

Identity and History Review

We confirm who the professional is and review their work history.

Technical Assessment, Where Required

When the role calls for it, a standardized assessment of the skills the role needs.

Live Technical Interview

An experienced engineer interviews against a versioned rubric for the specialty. The score is calculated from the rubric’s weights, and only a Hire or Strong Hire moves forward.

Communication Evaluation

How clearly they explain decisions, ask questions and work with a team.

References

We speak with professional references. Today a Vetted profile needs at least two verified references, and any negative reference stops the process for review.

Final Review

A final reviewer examines the full evidence file and decides. The people who prepare the file cannot approve it.

Vetted and Proven Mean Different Things

Two labels, each earned with evidence.

Vetted

Proven

The professional has completed a successful BragDev client engagement. It is earned only that way.

Our Commitments

How we keep vetting honest.

No Invented Credentials

If we could not verify something, we say so.

Humans Decide

Software organizes the evidence. People make every vetting decision.

Nobody Vets Themselves

No one can approve, interview or promote their own profile.

A Full Record

Every stage, reason and decision is kept. Evaluations are never edited after the fact; corrections are added as new, labelled versions.
